
Account Manager I – Facilities Maintenance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a large volume of service requests throughout the work order life cycle, ensuring adherence to established KPI standards and maintaining profitability.
• Utilize phone, email, and various CMMS systems to provide timely and precise communication with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendor partners and confirm their scheduled arrivals.
• Identify and cultivate vendor partnerships while negotiating rates to enhance profitability.
• Input data into computer systems to monitor and follow up on customer inquiries.
• Keep accurate records of service-request data and documentation.
• Evaluate customer inquiries, identify resolutions within service parameters, and propose suitable solutions.
• Engage professionally with customers and service providers via phone and email.
• Manage relationships with external clients and vendor partners.
• Offer leadership and support to team members.
• Prioritize tasks with competing deadlines and work effectively either collaboratively or independently.
• Assist with daily reporting and identify team priorities.
• Participate in team and client meetings.
• Support leadership in root-cause analysis and the development of preventive action plans.
• Ensure adherence to processes and procedures.
• Assist with or oversee after-hours requests during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Carry out additional duties and tasks assigned by leadership.
• At least 3 years of experience in account management.
• Previous experience in Facilities Maintenance/Construction is advantageous.
• Prior experience in construction management is preferred.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
• Capability to prioritize tasks with conflicting deadlines.
• Ability to work both collaboratively in a team and independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain composure in a dynamic, high-demand environment.
• Capacity to read and comprehend work instructions.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Capability to perform frequent sitting, walking, standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and balancing.
