This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with assigned accounts, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic collaborator.
• Acquire an in-depth understanding of Vanta’s current product offerings and proactively engage with the product roadmap to confidently address customer inquiries.
• Foster strong partnerships and alignment with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to gauge customer health, ensuring strategic collaboration and effective communication with accounts.
• Collaborate on account strategies that pinpoint new expansion opportunities with existing customers to enhance their utilization of Vanta’s platform through new frameworks, security tools, and more.
• Oversee the complete sales cycle for any expansion or renewal opportunities, from the initial meeting to closing, negotiating when necessary and involving additional internal resources as needed (such as solutions consultants and subject matter experts).
• Provide accurate forecasts for monthly expansion and churn, while maintaining a meticulous SFDC instance with diligent pipeline hygiene.
• Maintain an unwavering focus on customer needs and offer a consultative approach in crafting tailored solutions.
• Possess 3+ years of experience in selling to or managing customer accounts.
• Demonstrate a strong capability to prospect and build a sales pipeline independently, without assistance from BDRs or inbound support.
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and visual) for both internal audiences and customer-facing interactions.
• Be highly driven with a sense of urgency and the adaptability to adjust as needed.
• Capable of effective collaboration across various departments, including Customer Success, Marketing, Enablement, and Support.
• Previous experience in security and compliance is not a prerequisite but is highly preferred!
• Open to leveraging AI to enhance skills and improve work efficiency—showing curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in using AI responsibly.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.
