This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Operate within the regions of Western Ontario, including Windsor, Niagara Falls, Mississauga, Kitchener, Waterloo, London, Sarnia, and surrounding areas.
• Stay abreast of market trends and identify potential leads.
• Conduct sales presentations, on-site demos, and cold calls throughout your designated territory.
• Sustain the current customer volume through consistent contact, monitoring, and development efforts.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to key accounts.
• Achieve all sales performance targets.
• Engage in trade shows, training sessions, and other related events as required.
• Report to the Sales Manager regarding activities and new business opportunities.
• It is essential to possess sales experience as a surveyor or within the Survey, Engineering (AEC), and/or IT sectors.
• A strong hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to generate new business and successfully close deals is critical.
• Highly motivated, results-oriented, and adept at working in a new business development context.
• Capability to identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• An enthusiastic self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for selling in a competitive landscape.
• Proven experience in recommending, presenting, and selling various products tailored to customer needs.
• Initiative, self-motivation, adaptability, drive, and exceptional communication and computer skills are required.
• Willingness to allocate 40-60% of time traveling (locally and occasionally overnight) to service and meet customers.
• Strong creative problem-solving abilities and business acumen.
• Valid driving license in good standing.
• A post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field (Construction/Survey/Civil Engineering and Geomatics/Information Technology) or a combination of experience and education.
• Significant experience in an outside sales role, particularly in the AEC and IT sectors.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
