This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and propel direct sales initiatives within a designated set of Named Accounts in your assigned territory.
• Develop and execute territory strategies aimed at achieving deployments of Fortinet products and services.
• Cultivate executive relationships with essential buyers and influencers.
• Utilize relationships to meet quarterly sales targets.
• Generate a robust sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and provide accurate pipeline forecasts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create and present successful Contract Bids, Proposals, and Statements of Work.
• Negotiate business terms with clients to secure mutually beneficial outcomes that foster strong ongoing relationships.
• Comprehend customer business objectives and effectively convey Fortinet’s capabilities to assist them in reaching those objectives.
• A minimum of 5+ years of prior sales experience is essential.
• Previous experience in devising business plans and market strategies to boost sales.
• Demonstrated ability to sell solutions effectively.
• A proven history of meeting quotas and showcasing career stability.
• Exceptional presentation skills aimed at both executives and individual contributors.
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
• A self-driven, independent thinker who can advance deals through the sales cycle.
• Results-oriented, self-starter with a hunter mentality.
• The candidate must excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
