This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +8 more states.
• Accountable for acquiring new clients and nurturing existing accounts by implementing the company's strategic initiatives.
• An entrepreneurial mindset is essential for managing the territory, which includes planning, execution, and ownership of territory plans.
• Collaborate with customers by offering cutting-edge standard and custom color concentrate solutions.
• The customer base consists of thermoplastic processors involved in injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, and roto-molding.
• Foster strong business relationships with current customers while developing prospects to secure MB&A approvals.
• Gather product recommendations from Technical Service to fulfill customer needs through TSR.
• Negotiate contracts to drive increased sales.
• Provide technical assistance to customers.
• Address and communicate any complaints with both Teknor Color Technical Service and the customer.
• Participate in Regional and National sales meetings.
• Represent Teknor Color at trade shows.
• Attend and engage in industry-related seminars.
• Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Candidates must reside in one of the following states: PA, NJ, DE, MD, RI, NY, CT, MA, VT, NH.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, chemistry, engineering, or a related field of study is required.
• The position necessitates 2-4 years of sales experience or relevant industry experience.
• Proficient in managing the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, cold calling, closing deals, and fostering long-term customer relationships.
• Strong business acumen with exceptional verbal, written, and persuasive business communication skills.
• Capable of developing innovative strategies to replace products and cultivate niche markets.
• Proven ability to work autonomously while exercising sound business judgment and discretion.
• Skilled at analyzing and addressing territory opportunities by building essential customer relationships.
• Ability to forge strong working relationships through collaboration with colleagues and both internal and external contacts.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with ERP systems and sales reporting tools.
• Full driver’s license and passport.
• Comprehensive technical and manufacturing support.
• Resources necessary to significantly reduce lead times.
