This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Reporting to the Central Area Manager, you will be tasked with achieving your personal commercial targets in alignment with our business strategy.
• You will manage industrial water treatment applications, which includes the routine testing of cooling and boiler water treatment systems at your assigned sites.
• Initially, there will be an approximate 20/80 division between new business sales and key account management, encompassing both sales and service as well as consultancy for existing clients.
• You will handle all sales activities, account communications, contracts, received orders, new business initiatives, troubleshooting, and follow-up within your territory.
• Monthly forecasting of the financial performance for your area will be required.
• The specific clientele includes sectors such as food and beverage, metal processing, and general manufacturing.
• You will interact with various technical and engineering contacts as well as commercial buyers at your customer sites.
• It will be essential to collaborate with Solenis processes and systems to fulfill customer needs and uphold our compliance obligations.
• A graduate degree, preferably in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, is advantageous, or relevant years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in sales or account management within the water treatment sector is highly beneficial.
• Strong technical knowledge of boiler and cooling water treatment products and their applications is required.
• Familiarity with other water treatment applications and/or experience in selling biocides, polymers, and defoamers is advantageous.
• A customer-focused approach is necessary – the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and meet the demands and expectations of discerning customers.
• Attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset are crucial to achieving our strategic business KPIs and compliance responsibilities.
