Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• The Account Manager is tasked with overseeing relationships with significant regional customer distribution accounts, establishing local connections with national account representatives, and fostering end-user relationships within the B2B sector to achieve top-line sales revenue and profitability goals.

• Guides the implementation, development, and delivery of customer Joint Business Plans, as well as the effective execution of quarterly business reviews with key customers and end users.

• Regularly engages with customer personnel to advance the execution of the customer category plan, cultivating strong relationships at the Merchant/Buyer level.

• Proactively leverages SFDC to generate opportunities, campaigns, and reporting to enhance the close ratio.

• Must exhibit strong financial acumen and the capability to manage all account P&L levers, including list price, sales allowances, rebates, markdowns, trade marketing expenditure, and other customer investments.

• Experience in cold calling and generating new leads.

• Analyzes business trends and brainstorms strategies to drive the business, collaborating with cross-functional teams on the tactics.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required; an MBA is a plus.

• At least 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience in sales.

• Experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), and/or consumer durables industries is highly preferred.

• Proficient in analyzing syndicated data.

• Experience operating within a live trade accrual system.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of working with Retailer POS systems and metrics.

• Sales experience in consumer products, preferably across multiple brands.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be capable of presenting data in an organized manner to various levels within the organization.
