This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Oversee a portfolio of strategic and high-value customer accounts, acting as the main commercial point of contact.
• Create and implement account plans that promote revenue growth, enhance product adoption, and increase market share within designated accounts.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, recognizing business needs and aligning solutions with customer goals.
• Manage the sales pipeline from opportunity identification to contract execution, ensuring precise forecasting and the attainment of sales objectives.
• Direct commercial discussions and negotiations regarding pricing, contracts, and long-term business agreements.
• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Management, Quality, Regulatory, and Technical Support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Collaborate with global colleagues to assist with technical transfers, supply continuity planning, and global account strategies.
• Analyze market trends, competitive activities, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, or a related technical field.
• More than 5 years of experience in account management, sales, business development, or customer-facing commercial roles within the life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or similar industries.
• Proven track record in managing customer relationships and meeting or surpassing sales targets.
• Strong negotiation and contract management abilities with the capacity to influence decision-makers across various organizational levels.
• Preferred knowledge of bioprocessing, biotechnology, cell culture, or related life science markets.
• Understanding of GMP-regulated environments and the implications of quality and compliance requirements on commercial operations.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and the capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global setting.
• Self-driven and highly organized, with the ability to juggle competing priorities in a dynamic, remote environment and a willingness to travel up to 30 – 50%.
