Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance relationships with current hyperscale clients, ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction and trust.

• Identify and chase new business prospects within key accounts, managing the entire proposal process and capitalizing on the increasing demand for tape-based storage.

• Formulate and execute account strategies to meet revenue objectives and boost FUJIFILM’s market share within each account.

• Engage with various stakeholders within customer organizations (e.g., purchasing, engineering, supply chain management) and maintain robust relationships across different organizational tiers.

• Fortify partnerships with system integration allies and establish seamless collaboration for hyperscale clients.

• Work closely with internal technical, supply chain, and operations support teams, as well as the Tokyo headquarters, to synchronize sales actions and ensure efficient coordination between customer needs and internal operations.

• Produce and sustain precise sales forecasts and provide insights to internal stakeholders to assist with production scheduling and inventory management.

• Evaluate and negotiate contracts, commercial terms, and conditions in conjunction with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and operations.

• Track market developments in storage, data centers, and hyperscale ecosystems, and provide organized feedback to internal teams to aid in product and business planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in account management, preferably within the IT sector.

• Proven experience in managing large-scale, strategic enterprise clients.

• Experience in selling IT-related products (software and/or hardware).

• Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Capability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment and to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
