This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage detailed schedules for activities aimed at achieving procurement goals within a designated timeframe for clients.

• Execute and follow project protocols from the identification phase, assisting in the oversight of project scope development and review, proposal analysis, ensuring compliance with contracts, to the notice to proceed and the execution of construction necessary to meet specific objectives for various Job Orders.

• Proficient in interpreting and understanding construction plans and specifications, with substantial expertise in conducting thorough price proposal evaluations and creating as well as reviewing detailed construction line item proposals.

• Capability to train contractors on Gordian software, client procedures, and assist in the bidding process for client contracts.

• Communicate effectively and clearly with clients and internal team members to guarantee that projects are completed within the established timeline and budget.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction procurement, management, or general contracting, preferably in both facilities and road construction.

• Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in commercial public construction operations, including pricing, contracting, scope development, and estimating/price proposal creation.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to effectively oversee multiple projects in development and in the field at the same time.

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills, excellent interpersonal and team-building skills, adaptability, strategic thinking, problem-solving proficiency, goal-oriented, client-focused, and a proven ability to deliver results while meeting both client and corporate deadlines, along with strong time management skills. Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, with the ability to create and generate custom tracking documents and reports.

• A background in construction documentation and administration is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience with Job Order Contracting or IDIQ is essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of various public procurement and project delivery methods and requirements.

• Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time.
