This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee customer accounts to ensure the effective implementation and operation of company programs.
• Cultivate and sustain robust, long-term relationships with customers, acting as their primary point of contact and advisor.
• Enhance and expand current accounts by comprehending customer needs, resolving issues, and spotting opportunities for additional sales.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the company’s products and services to effectively address customer requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers through both verbal and written channels, providing them with regular updates and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, customer service) to fulfill customer needs.
• Establish new connections at client locations to secure existing business and uncover opportunities to broaden the company’s reach within an organization.
• Identify continuous improvement projects and other cross-selling opportunities within an account.
• Assist in sales activities by preparing proposals and presentations.
• Successfully complete the DuBois field training programs.
• Utilize the company’s analytics platform to prepare and present service reports.
• Adhere to all DuBois safety protocols and complete the necessary training.
• Travel to customer locations for routine service visits and conduct business reviews.
• Must be capable of executing the essential functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Reside in the greater Chicago area.
• 1+ years of experience in sales, account management, customer service, or a related field.
• Exceptional customer service skills to foster and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Capability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in addressing customers’ technical challenges and supporting improvement processes through product knowledge.
• Document and communicate service findings for every customer service visit.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) along with strong presentation abilities.
• Skilled in performing technical/mechanical on-site testing.
• Willingness to learn and assist with DuBois e-Tools, System Surveys, and Cost Calculators.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and analytical tools.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight trips.
