This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
• Develop and implement strategic territory plans aimed at meeting and surpassing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, gross margin, and profitability objectives.
• Evaluate inbound leads and pursue new account opportunities within designated segments.
• Highlight ANC’s technical advantages, safety record, and total cost-of-ownership benefits through consultative value selling techniques.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate long-term product supply agreements, establish pricing frameworks, and determine delivery terms.
• Act as the primary liaison for customer leadership and site managers.
• Conduct regular business assessments to review supply performance and pinpoint areas for process enhancement.
• Promote telemetry monitoring, annual gas detection compliance testing, safety hardware, and equipment maintenance packages.
• Identify account vulnerabilities, address service disputes, and manage renewal schedules.
• Collaborate with AR credit managers to uphold payment conditions and resolve billing conflicts.
• Oversee formula-based pricing adjustments, fuel surcharges, and regulatory pass-through fees.
• Actively manage ongoing dispute cases with the ANC dispute resolution team.
• Maintain customer records, document sales activities, oversee opportunities, and submit territory reports via SAP and Salesforce.
• Coordinate with fill plants, field service technicians, and logistics dispatchers to ensure successful delivery execution and onboarding of new accounts.
• Ensure that customer installations comply with local fire codes, OSHA regulations, and compressed-gas storage safety standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and a minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.
• At least 3 to 5 years of proven B2B outside sales experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in territory management and solution-based selling.
• Experience in industrial/specialty gas sales, beverage carbonation systems, welding supplies, or industrial equipment leasing is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce or similar enterprise CRM platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications.
• Experience with complex commercial contracts, formula/index pricing models, and structured negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of gross margins, credit terms, and accounts receivable oversight.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
• Capable of communicating effectively with shop-floor managers as well as C-suite executives.
• Highly organized self-starter with the ability to independently manage a large geographic territory.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
