This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Engages in classroom learning, independent study, and on-the-job training to understand White Cap's business model, products, vendors, customer requirements, jobsite dynamics, systems, competitors, pricing strategies, sales methodology, and selling techniques.
• Develops and implements account plans.
• Promotes the value proposition and products of White Cap.
• Gains insights into effective sales calls at job sites or offices by accompanying the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers.
• Inputs and processes customer orders.
• Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or one to two years of experience in sales or a similar area.
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable engaging with team members.
• Requires strong self-management, a proactive mindset, personal accountability, and independence.
• Competitive spirit with a strong desire to achieve success.
• Goal-oriented with a commitment to meeting performance metrics.
• Receptive to feedback and willing to take steps to enhance performance.
• Proven ability to plan and organize daily tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in the Spanish language.
