• Take strategic ownership of a targeted portfolio of accounts, defining a multi-year vision and success metrics that enhance retention, upselling, and growth in line with both client and company goals.
• Act as the primary executive advisor for designated accounts, fostering trusted relationships at the C-suite level that promote long-term retention, expansion, and partnership development.
• Utilize client business models, contractual agreements, and financial frameworks to proactively identify strategic risks, growth prospects, and value creation initiatives.
• Develop and oversee account planning that facilitates growth, communicates value, and directs renewals, pricing, and expansion efforts.
• Harness advanced financial modeling, performance analytics, and market insights to evaluate profitability and optimize value for both the client and the organization.
• Provide strategic governance for account execution, ensuring that cross-functional teams deliver results in accordance with client commitments and contractual obligations.
• Serve as the executive sponsor for client initiatives, guiding scope, priorities, and outcomes while influencing senior leaders across operations, clinical, product, and technology sectors.
• Lead impactful negotiations, manage escalations, and implement risk mitigation strategies, defining resolution approaches that safeguard organizational relationships, external partnerships, and long-term client trust.
• Convert client strategies into internal organizational priorities, aligning leadership teams for coordinated execution and accountability.
• Facilitate executive-level client Joint Operating Committees (JOCs) and forums, including strategic planning sessions, governance reviews, and organizational business assessments.
• Assess market trends and performance challenges to provide insights that guide client strategy and business decision-making.
• Manage implementation efforts by coordinating between internal and external stakeholders, monitoring deliverables, and escalating risks as necessary.
• Mentor Lead and Senior Account Managers by establishing best practices, enhancing strategic and financial capabilities, and influencing Account Management standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in managed care and health plan operations.
• Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and/or Network Management.
• Experience in managing complex client integrations and implementations.
• Proven track record in leading complex health plans or managed care accounts, with responsibility for performance, retention, and growth.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experienced with CRM tools.
• Strong data governance skills, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility to facilitate informed decision-making, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Established ability to influence executive-level outcomes, both internally and externally, through strong credibility, judgment, and collaborative partnerships.
• Advanced financial acumen, including experience in managing P&L, margin analysis, contract economics, and commercial performance management within a managed care or healthcare services context.
• Ability to apply sound financial judgment with a clear commercial focus to drive operational excellence and strategic alignment.
• Executive-level communication and facilitation skills, with experience leading high-stakes discussions, presentations, and negotiations.
• Demonstrated leadership presence as a senior individual contributor, including mentoring, coaching, and influencing peers and cross-functional partners.
