This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Acquire new business to achieve revenue targets through self-sourcing strategies.
• Identify prospects who can convert into customers by utilizing internal databases, innovative online searches, personalized outreach, marketing initiatives, referrals, and other methods.
• Assess prospects and effectively communicate ShipBob’s value propositions to secure new business that aligns with our operational standards.
• Engage with potential customers, whether self-sourced or pre-qualified by the Business Development or Partnerships team, to evaluate mutual compatibility.
• Guide customers smoothly through the sales process, ensuring that all expectations are clearly set and understood.
• Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and overall partnership agreements.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of our technological offerings and operational capabilities.
• Keep an organized, updated, and comprehensive pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting, along with current CRM notes for clear account status.
• Provide feedback to management to help enhance the sales process and improve the Merchant experience.
• Ensure a seamless transition to the post-sales team.
• Recognize local nuances and contribute to the enhancement of processes, tools, and documentation.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.
• A minimum of 18 months experience as an Account Executive or Sales Representative in the eCommerce fulfillment or OMS/WMS/TMS technology sector.
• Ability to cultivate strong teamwork and inspire those around you.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proven track record of success in a Sales role.
• Capacity to understand client needs and manage the negotiation process effectively.
• Proficient in computer skills, particularly in MS Excel and CRM software.
