This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in a high volume of prospecting and lead generation activities within your designated territory to discover new potential Smarsh customers in the government sector.
• Consistently achieve or surpass quarterly booking targets.
• Collaborate with the Management team through one-on-one meetings, team discussions, and forecasting/reporting to deliver exceptional service.
• Keep an accurate and timely forecast updated as opportunities progress through the sales cycle.
• Ensure accurate system hygiene in Salesforce by maintaining up-to-date notes in opportunities.
• Build and uphold positive working relationships with all colleagues and clients.
• Provide updates and changes regarding industry regulations to our client base as they are implemented.
• Utilize sales tools such as Salesforce, LISN, Outreach.io, Zoominfo, and others effectively for prospecting.
• Maintain account coverage in your territory, as defined by the Sales Excellence Framework.
• Manage your time efficiently to meet quotas, achieve KPIs, and pursue continuous education in sales skills or product knowledge.
• Concentrate on Corporate Sales accounts consisting of 1-50 employees or thresholds set by management.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Familiarity with SLED procurement processes and regulations.
• Experienced in responding to requests from SLED government entities.
• Proven track record of consistent success or overachievement in a sales position.
• Experience overseeing the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
• Knowledge of financial markets or hosted technology services is highly desirable.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a professional telephone demeanor.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity or working knowledge of Salesforce.com.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• A passion for assisting customers in their success.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities.
