
Account Executive – Renewal Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Generate and enhance revenue within a designated region or account list.
• Manage revenue and oversee the complete sales cycle, which includes prospecting, negotiating contracts, and securing renewal business with clients.
• Offer insights based on the business needs and usage patterns of customers.
• Act as the customer advocate, gathering feedback to thoroughly evaluate leads and sales opportunities, leverage business from both new and existing relationships, and strategize, negotiate, and finalize deals.
• Address incoming customer communications and appropriately organize or escalate issues related to billing, legal, security, and technical inquiries.
• Collaborate with various team members (Underwriting, Leadership, etc.) to develop strategic financial plans for clients.
• Educate and effectively convey the value of Cash Advance to clients.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal teams and customers to foster mutually beneficial sales relationships.
• Efficiently manage a sales pipeline within a defined sales process.
• Clearly communicate the status of deals to internal management, including senior leadership, with realistic timelines and challenges affecting the overall success of each deal.
• Bachelor’s degree or a relevant combination of education and professional experience is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of full sales cycle experience, ideally in Financial Services and/or consultative sales, with a proven track record of success.
• Experience collaborating with internal sales teams is essential, and you should enjoy this aspect of the role.
• Proficiency in selling across various products and industries.
• Capability to engage multiple stakeholders throughout the sales cycle, including Legal, IT, Security, and Finance teams.
• Strong collaborative skills with internal sales teams are necessary, and you should find this enjoyable.
• Experience in engaging with customers and establishing a presence using communication tools.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) is required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with a strong sense of accountability.
• Ability to perform basic business mathematics.
