• Master SHI’s value proposition to consistently surpass revenue and profit objectives, while developing effective sales strategies and pricing proposals.
• Nurture relationships with current customers and forge new connections through targeted sales techniques, such as cold calling, meetings, and networking.
• Identify and create opportunities within the sales pipeline to meet sales targets, grow business with existing clients, and establish new ones through focused sales tactics.
• Collaborate with sales management to recognize and manage sales opportunities, with the aim of meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual goals.
• Cultivate proactive partnerships with internal SHI support teams and external industry partners to drive business growth and uphold joint selling initiatives.
• Comprehend customers’ business objectives, IT priorities, and initiatives to provide customized solutions.
• Position and effectively articulate SHI’s range of products, solutions, services, and capabilities to customers and partners.
• Stay informed about SHI’s industry competition and effectively showcase our offerings to defend SHI’s value in securing new business.
• Foster successful relationships across departments and engage with extended SHI support teams to identify new business prospects and leverage support resources.
• Enhance market awareness of SHI through participation in local and regional industry events, organizations, and affiliations.
• Continuously pursue self-education to remain updated on industry trends, products, and market conditions.
• A completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience.
• At least 50% of your time spent outside of an office environment engaging with existing and prospective customers.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites within the designated territory.
• Availability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.
• Currently possess or be able to obtain necessary sales and/or technical certifications within the first 90 days of employment.
