This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Master SHI’s value proposition to consistently surpass revenue and profit objectives, while developing effective sales strategies and pricing proposals.
• Build and nurture relationships with current customers and forge new connections through targeted sales methods, including cold calling, meetings, and networking.
• Identify and generate opportunities within the sales pipeline to meet sales targets, expand business with existing clients, and acquire new customers using focused sales techniques.
• Work collaboratively with sales management to pinpoint and manage sales opportunities, with the goal of meeting or exceeding quarterly and yearly targets.
• Establish proactive partnerships with internal SHI support teams and external industry allies to propel business and uphold joint selling initiatives.
• Comprehend customers' business goals, IT priorities, and initiatives to deliver customized solutions.
• Effectively position and communicate SHI’s range of products, solutions, services, and capabilities to customers and partners.
• Stay informed about SHI’s industry competition and adeptly showcase our offerings to defend SHI’s value proposition and secure new business.
• Promote successful cross-departmental relationships and collaborate with extended SHI support teams to identify new business opportunities and leverage support resources.
• Enhance SHI's market presence by participating in local and regional industry events, organizations, and affiliations.
• Commit to continuous learning to stay updated on industry trends, products, and market conditions.
• A completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience.
• At least 50% of the time spent outside of an office environment meeting with current and prospective customers.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations within the designated territory.
• Availability to attend SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.
• Possess or be able to obtain the necessary sales and/or technical certifications within the first 90 days of employment.
