This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Meet quarterly and annual sales targets by formulating a sales strategy within the designated territory, including a target prospect list and a regional sales plan.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing plans aimed at boosting revenue.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by comprehending their current and future IT roadmap, facilitating the adoption of the Snowflake solution in the market.
• Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities, alongside establishing ongoing revenue streams.
• Organize and conduct initial discussions with Executives and CxOs, along with positioning meetings.
• Manage the sales process and ensure successful opportunity closure.
• Provide ongoing account management to maintain customer satisfaction and foster additional revenue streams.
• BA/BS degree is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of field sales experience in the Public Sector, with a focus on data or cloud-related technologies preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience dedicated to generating new business in the Public Sector.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage, develop, and finalize new client relationships.
• A proven track record of consistently driving activity, pipeline development, and achieving quotas.
• Experience in identifying customer requirements and delivering suitable solutions.
• Proactive, independent thinker with a high level of energy and a positive demeanor.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Capacity to excel in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience in managing relationships at the executive level.
• Ability to grasp the "bigger picture" and understand the business drivers related to IT.
• Proficiency in the German language is required.
