This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take full ownership of the sales cycle, from initial prospecting to closing deals, with an emphasis on attracting new enterprise clients.
• Create and implement strategic sales initiatives aimed at penetrating large, complex enterprise accounts.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and technical stakeholders to grasp their requirements and effectively position Temporal across a diverse array of use cases.
• Manage intricate technical discussions and align Temporal’s offerings with customer priorities.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospects, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the sales journey.
• Collaborate with customer success, solutions architecture, and product teams to guarantee a smooth customer experience.
• Utilize your expertise in enterprise sales to identify and seize high-value opportunities within large, intricate organizations, driving net-new customer acquisition.
• Innovate and modify sales strategies to cater to the evolving demands of enterprise businesses in a fast-paced market.
• Proven expertise in enterprise software sales, usually acquired through over 7 years of experience in comparable roles.
• A successful history of selling to software engineers, technical decision-makers, and engineering leaders.
• Ability to navigate complex technical discussions and collaboratively align Temporal’s capabilities with customer priorities.
• Documented success in navigating and closing deals within large, matrixed enterprise organizations.
• Experience in driving high-growth sales initiatives within enterprise accounts, recognizing opportunities, and scaling revenue.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a proactive approach and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Outstanding relationship management abilities, with the skill to influence and build trust across various levels of an organization.
• Proven success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience with cutting-edge developer tools or infrastructure products.
• Familiarity with consumption-based sales models and promoting the adoption of technical products.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of presenting to both technical and executive audiences.
• A strong passion for technology and a deep interest in addressing complex customer challenges.
