This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +8 more states.
• Meet the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives set by the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
• Attain lead generation, prospecting, and other sales management objectives aimed at creating an effective sales pipeline.
• Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships and referrals with senior management within designated territories.
• Oversee the complete sales process for all opportunities, which includes initial client outreach, on-site presentations, responding to RFIs, submitting RFPs, negotiating, and finalizing deals.
• The candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for all communications and sales activities with prospects.
• Collaborate closely with Routeware’s pre-sales, post-sales, and executive management teams to ensure that the proposed offerings and services align with customers’ business and technology requirements.
• Comply with all Routeware Sales, Human Resources, and corporate ethical policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Exhibit strong personal communication and presentation skills to foster interest, credibility, and trust.
• Travel frequently to regional prospect and customer sites to facilitate lead generation, sales presentations, contract negotiations, and ongoing relationship development.
• Proven track record in new business acquisition and customer development within an enterprise software or IT services/technology environment.
• Consistent demonstration of exceeding client acquisition and sales revenue goals.
• Successful experience with enterprise software offerings under licensing and SaaS models.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of direct sales experience in an enterprise software or IT services/technology setting.
• Background in the waste industry and/or other fleet technology sales is advantageous.
• Familiarity with vendor selection processes, including RFI and RFP issuance and response management.
• Capacity to maintain a strong focus on territory management throughout sales cycles that typically last six months to one year.
• Proven ability to navigate complex negotiations with senior-level business and technology executives.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interactions, proposal creation, etc.
• Negotiation capabilities for six and seven-figure enterprise-wide contracts.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
