This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• In response to business expansion and our goals for 2026, we are creating new Account Executive roles within the firm to join the Medium team that focuses on accounting firms.
• Your primary objective will be to comprehend the accounting and management challenges that SME leaders and accounting firms encounter, and to pinpoint how Pennylane can assist both groups. After this assessment, you will be accountable for a specific region in France, aiming to win over the Medium firms within your territory.
• You will conduct meetings, either remotely or face-to-face, where you will engage with accounting firms to:
• - Gain insights into their firm and the obstacles they face in fulfilling the needs of their teams and clients.
• - Showcase Pennylane and illustrate how it can transform their daily operations.
• - Finalize the sale with the firm, persuading them to manage a substantial portion of their portfolio through Pennylane.
• Once the sale is finalized and the initial files are under the management of the accounting firm, you will provide ongoing support to:
• - Retain and increase the number of files managed on Pennylane, driving growth across your portfolio of firms.
• - Collaborate with support teams to ensure the service provided meets the expectations of the firms.
• - Build a network of promoter firms that can refer other peers.
• Additional responsibilities include:
• - Engaging with client-side commercial teams to ensure the smooth operation of the firm-client virtuous cycle.
• - Executing targeted prospecting (emails, cold calls, participating in events…) for firms with high potential.
• - Analyzing your performance, learning from fellow team members, and sharing your techniques to enhance the team’s overall performance.
• You possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial/sales positions (preferably in B2B SaaS, handling long, complex deals involving multiple stakeholders).
• You thrive in commercial relationships and enjoy spending time with prospects/clients: having working lunches, attending trade shows, and traveling to meet individuals in the field. Fieldwork is essential when collaborating with accounting firms!
• You are innovative and tenacious in reaching your objectives within your designated area.
• You are adept at operating in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• You have a strong desire to learn and advance in your sales career and are proactive in proposing solutions to challenges you encounter.
• You demonstrate a robust ability to collaborate daily with other teams and are flexible in cross-team interactions.
• You possess knowledge of the accounting-tech/fintech ecosystem.
• You have a level of English that enables you to engage in professional internal discussions and deliver presentations effectively.
