• Promote and manage the sales and service of Optics’ branded products and services by overseeing current accounts and generating new leads in the private practice sector.
• Utilize an extensive understanding of the Lab’s services, products, and marketing strategies to enhance utilization among physicians within a designated territory.
• Support the Lab's visibility to physicians beyond the established territory boundaries.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans tailored to the unique requirements of individual accounts to maintain existing business for the Lab and to educate and assist accounts in the use of premium lens products.
• Build and nurture strong professional relationships with physicians and their teams.
• Inform customers about industry developments and new lens offerings to aid in their business decision-making.
• Keep up-to-date with current and new products/services and relevant general information to ensure accurate information is communicated.
• Act as the intermediary between the Lab and clients to ensure service expectations and standards are fulfilled.
• Work collaboratively with marketing and product development teams to respond to customer needs and analyze market trends.
• Track sales activities and monitor account growth within the assigned territory.
• Create and present presentations to medical staff, catering to both small and large groups.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in direct outside sales.
• Extensive knowledge of ophthalmic lenses and coatings is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven history of achieving sales/revenue targets with major account management responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel over 50% of the time.
• Clean driving record.
