This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Formulate and implement strategic and tactical sales capture initiatives aimed at driving new customer acquisition within the International Defence sector while ensuring the achievement of quarterly and annual objectives.
β’ Establish and nurture exceptional, long-term customer relationships, while building a network of key influencers and decision-makers to stimulate demand.
β’ Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer use cases, internal decision-making processes, and budget cycles essential for securing business.
β’ Offer thought leadership to create demand for Dataminr's Real Time Alerting solutions and discover opportunities to integrate these products into customer workflows.
β’ Deliver precise sales forecasts on a quarterly basis.
β’ Serve as a sector subject matter expert, providing strategic and tactical sales guidance based on competitive dynamics, trends, and innovations.
β’ Proficiency in prospecting, identifying and developing various use cases, and fostering robust relationships with senior leaders in the military community.
β’ A background in the military would be advantageous.
β’ Fluency in the French language.
β’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience along with 5+ years of proven success in enterprise software or SaaS sales.
β’ A solid track record of achieving success in selling technology solutions, negotiating, and closing strategic opportunities within the Defence/Military sector, especially in the European defence market.
β’ Skilled in strategically navigating and influencing all customer stakeholders throughout the buying process (users, influencers, and budget decision-makers).
β’ Outstanding communication abilities for articulating clear value propositions through customer interactions, presentations, and written proposals.
β’ A strong understanding of open-source information for public sector advantages, along with the necessary security clearance to operate within the client environment.
β’ Availability to travel approximately 35-50% of the time.
