This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of and drive revenue expansion within designated Higher Education accounts and territories.
• Formulate and implement strategic account plans aimed at Higher Education clients.
• Discover, assess, and secure new business opportunities that align with DDN’s AI and data platform offerings.
• Cultivate robust relationships with key stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, data leaders, and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with pre-sales engineers and solution architects to provide customized solutions that tackle customer challenges.
• Navigate complex sales cycles from initial prospecting through negotiation to closure.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to guarantee favorable customer outcomes.
• Ensure precise pipeline management and forecasting using CRM systems.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise technology sales, ideally within storage, infrastructure, or data solutions.
• Proven experience in selling to Higher Education sectors.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing quotas in complex, solution-driven sales environments.
• Strong comprehension of enterprise IT, data infrastructure, or AI/ML ecosystems.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation abilities.
• Capability to manage lengthy sales cycles and engage multiple stakeholders.
