This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Master SHI’s value proposition to consistently surpass revenue and profit objectives while formulating impactful sales strategies and pricing proposals.
• Develop and nurture relationships with current clients while forging new connections through targeted sales methods, such as cold calling, meetings, and networking.
• Recognize and generate opportunities within the sales pipeline to meet sales goals, expand business with existing clients, and acquire new clients using focused sales techniques.
• Collaborate with sales management to identify and manage sales opportunities, striving to meet or exceed quarterly and annual goals.
• Establish proactive partnerships with internal SHI support teams and external industry partners to promote business and sustain joint selling initiatives.
• Comprehend customers' business objectives, IT priorities, and initiatives in order to provide customized solutions.
• Effectively position and communicate SHI’s array of products, solutions, services, and capabilities to customers and partners.
• Stay informed about SHI’s industry competition and effectively showcase our offerings to defend SHI’s value in order to secure new business.
• Cultivate successful cross-departmental relationships and collaborate with extended SHI support teams to identify new business opportunities and utilize support resources.
• Enhance market awareness of SHI by participating in local and regional industry events, organizations, and affiliations.
• Engage in continuous self-education to remain abreast of industry trends, products, and market conditions.
• A completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience is required.
• At least 5 years of successful IT sales experience, ideally with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or a Value-Added Reseller (VAR).
• Experience in selling to Healthcare IT organizations or a hands-on background in Healthcare IT.
• A proven history of exceeding sales quotas and developing long-term client relationships.
• Strong understanding of hospital systems, clinical workflows, and current healthcare industry drivers, challenges, and trends.
• Experience working with and/or selling major IT OEMs in software, cybersecurity, data center and cloud, and end-user devices.
• Demonstrated success in selling professional and managed services.
• Willingness to spend a minimum of 50% of time outside of an office setting meeting with existing and potential clients.
• Ability to travel to customer sites within the designated territory.
• Travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events is required.
• Must currently hold or have the capacity to obtain required sales and/or technical certifications within the first 90 days of employment.
