This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• As the Vena expert, advocate, and brand leader for your Territory, you will take charge of sales execution and performance with both prospects and customers.

• You will play a key role in shaping the sales strategy and driving continuous improvement within your Territory.

• Exhibit exceptional personal leadership and accountability, serving as a vital partner in helping the Company achieve its sales objectives.

• You will be directly accountable for the punctuality and accuracy of your reporting and metrics.

• Manage the visibility and completeness of your sales reporting, which includes tracking sales activities, pipeline status, and forecast updates.

• Collaborate with all Vena Teams to enhance and propel sales while being mindful of their requirements, dependencies, and operations to ensure complete cross-functional transparency and alignment.

• Regularly support Vena’s remote inside sales and/or partner teams as needed to promote the Vena brand and boost Territory revenue, engagement, and development.

• Engage actively in reviewing your performance, that of your Team, and the Company’s actual and forecasted outcomes, providing feedback on decision-making and offering recommendations to foster speed, effectiveness, and efficiency.

• Consistently strive to meet your performance targets in essential areas such as Quarterly and annual net new software revenue, measured by annual recurring revenue (“ARR”) generation.

• Conduct prospecting activities through your own initiatives, guiding and leveraging sales development resources, and collaborating with the Vena Partner network.

• Build and develop pipelines to ensure appropriate coverage and instill confidence in forecasts.

• Focus on expanding customer ARR.

• Specific responsibilities include ownership of your targets along with the related metrics and analytics.

• Attend weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales meetings, including Quarterly Business Reviews, Kick Offs, Training, and Planning sessions.

• Successfully complete onboarding and maintain ongoing sales certification standards.

• Serve as a top sales partner to other teams, including Solution Consulting, Professional Services, and Customer Success.

• Utilize Vena’s systems (currently including Salesforce.com, Salesloft, LinkedIn) to enhance your efficiency and ensure accurate reporting of all your activities and metrics with the necessary details.

• Support and take charge of local Vena events (such as Vena 360, Vena Experience, Vena Customer Exchange) and/or third-party events (such as vendor, partner, or industry conferences).

• Promote the Vena brand to prospects, customers, and partners while consistently acting in alignment with Vena’s values and policies.

• Participate in attracting and mentoring sales team members, continually working towards developing Vena’s high-performing, creative, innovative, and results-driven Sales Team.

• Contribute to fostering a team culture dedicated to growth, collaboration, accountability, and respect.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated and consistent success in similar RSM roles, working with the Finance Teams of midmarket and larger organizations to navigate complex sales cycles (including multistage presentations, demonstrations, proof of concept, and ARR of $25,000+).

• At least 5+ years of total experience in a quota-carrying frontline sales and sales development role, including experience within high-growth SaaS sales teams and/or larger enterprise vendors (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.) or 3+ years as a sales development expert in a relevant vendor/sell-to Finance/business process solution environment.

• Extensive experience in new logo acquisition and Territory development.

• Drive performance through creativity, lead-by-example leadership, and compelling communication.

• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior management and C-suite Finance stakeholders.

• A proven track record as a sales professional who embodies and aligns with Vena’s values.

• Experience with CRM and Marketing automation solutions, such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, and LinkedIn.

• Ideally, you will have relevant experience in “selling to a Finance audience” along with expertise or knowledge in Finance Process and Accounting.
