
Account Executive β Field Based Sales, Nursing Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Conduct research to identify potential sales opportunities within the assigned region, targeting key contacts.
β’ Generate new sales opportunities by cold calling institutional prospects from both new and existing leads.
β’ Collaborate with the Customer Care team to process quotes and finalize sales transactions.
β’ Predict sales trends, create innovative sales strategies and models, and assess their effectiveness.
β’ Build a robust sales pipeline using various channels (email, phone, trade show leads, and inbound website inquiries).
β’ Reach out to institutional prospects utilizing both new and existing leads.
β’ Develop and implement email campaigns to generate additional leads and inquiries.
β’ Oversee all post-sales activities, providing support to new customers and ensuring year-over-year retention of university and college relationships.
β’ Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to share and document market insights, feedback, and customer takeaways.
β’ Prioritize meetings with decision-makers and deliver on-site presentations and sales demonstrations.
β’ Conduct webinar presentations to student groups.
β’ Attend conferences and trade shows to engage with both B2C and B2B prospects.
β’ Maintain meticulous attention to detail while managing all sales-related activities (notes, follow-ups, emails, call logs).
β’ Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets based on the goals set for new revenue generation.
β’ Collaborate with the Marketing team to maintain customer data and market insights.
β’ Adapt to the evolving needs of the growing company.
β’ Participate in team meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and other assigned tasks.
β’ Route qualified leads to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure planning.
β’ Demonstrate accountability and responsibility by independently managing projects and assignments on time, holding oneself and others accountable for meeting objectives and adhering to standards.
β’ Work with direct reports to ensure they have a personal and professional growth and development plan to enhance their knowledge, competencies, and professional practices.
β’ Seek opportunities for personal growth and development through meetings and educational programs.
β’ A bachelor's degree in science, marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred.
β’ A minimum of five years of sales experience or having used UWorld to successfully pass the NCLEX exam is required.
β’ Previous sales experience in the education or publishing sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
β’ Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and meet sales quotas.
β’ Experience in qualifying opportunities, account development, and effective time management.
β’ Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to large groups.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect and interact with potential customers.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills and the capability to determine solutions for customers using a consultative sales approach.
β’ Energetic, outgoing, and personable demeanor.
β’ Exceptional organizational skills with an adaptable and collaborative mindset.
β’ Persuasive and goal-driven.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 70% within the defined territory.
