This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee and expand a designated portfolio of entertainment accounts while identifying new business opportunities within the sector.
• Cultivate and sustain comprehensive account intelligence, encompassing key buyers, influencers, production contacts, travel behaviors, sourcing preferences, business potential, competitive landscape, and subsequent steps.
• Formulate and implement account strategies that facilitate revenue growth across group, transient, extended stay, production, project-based, and special event segments.
• Identify and assess new entertainment, media, production, sports, music, streaming, live event, talent, and related accounts that present potential for Hyatt hotels.
• Inform entertainment buyers about the Hyatt brands, hotel capabilities, location suitability, service standards, and solutions pertinent to their business requirements.
• Ensure that managed entertainment accounts consider Hyatt for relevant group, transient, production, project, and event sourcing opportunities.
• Collaborate with hotel sales teams, operators, revenue management, and commercial stakeholders to align customer needs with hotel objectives and secure business.
• Assist in customer negotiations, hotel communications, and follow-up on opportunities with urgency, discretion, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Remain informed on entertainment industry trends, production activities, event schedules, market conditions, forecasts, and competitive insights.
• Utilize CRM, sourcing platforms, analytics, and industry tools to document activities, prioritize opportunities, and evaluate account performance.
• Advocate for Hyatt initiatives and priorities with entertainment clients as appropriate, including new hotel openings, focus hotels, Essentials brands, and special initiatives.
• Amplify the voice of the entertainment customer within Hyatt and engage in cross-functional projects that advance National Sales objectives.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales, hospitality sales, account management, entertainment sales, or related commercial fields.
• Proven experience collaborating with entertainment, media, production, sports, music, streaming, live events, talent, or related accounts.
• Strong comprehension of entertainment market dynamics, including buyer expectations, sourcing behaviors, production timelines, travel patterns, confidentiality requirements, and service expectations.
• Solid sales expertise and business development experience across group, transient, extended stay, production, project-based, and/or special event sectors.
• Demonstrated capability to manage a portfolio of accounts while simultaneously cultivating new business opportunities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and follow-through abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple customers, priorities, opportunities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM and/or database management tools.
• Understanding of customer sourcing and booking tools such as Cvent, Cvent Transient, HopSkip, Concur, GetThere, or similar platforms.
• Experience with industry data tools such as Knowland Group, Amadeus Hotelligence Suite, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar platforms.
