This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +11 more states.
• Take ownership of and surpass quarterly revenue objectives by developing and sustaining a robust, well-balanced sales pipeline.
• Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with the Marketing team on lead generation initiatives.
• Create detailed, value-driven business cases utilizing customer insights to advance sales negotiations.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships within prospect and customer organizations, working alongside Customer Success after the sale.
• Keep abreast of trends in the retail industry and offer insights to Product Strategy.
• Represent Appriss Retail at trade shows, conferences, and other industry gatherings.
• Ensure accurate and current records are maintained within Salesforce CRM.
• Over 8 years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, particularly focused on selling to enterprise retail brands.
• Familiarity with loss prevention or fraud solutions is a plus.
• Proven track record of managing lengthy, intricate enterprise sales cycles from initial prospecting to closing deals.
• Understanding of retail operations, finance, and IT practices.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders across business, finance, and technology sectors.
• Expertise in a structured sales methodology (e.g., Sandler, Challenger, MEDDIC, or similar).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
