This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• This role is accountable for promoting and selling the Hospitality solution portfolio within a designated territory;
• The position involves selling solutions and services to secure fresh opportunities, thereby maximizing revenue and profitability while enhancing NCR's market share;
• Focuses on existing client accounts within the local geographic area, primarily targeting ownership levels in the small to medium-sized business sector;
• Responsible for identifying, managing, and successfully closing new business opportunities within designated areas, including Table Service accounts, Quick Service accounts, and other relevant sectors in hospitality;
• As a part of the sales team, the role's objectives are clearly defined, and performance is assessed based on the ability to close new business deals;
• Executes the sales process by effectively advancing new opportunities through the sales funnel;
• Accountable for establishing relationships with prospective and competitive clients;
• Communicates solutions in terms of return on investment (ROI) to the client;
• Acts as a key liaison in identifying customer needs and NCR's capacity to fulfill those needs through its solutions;
• Serves as the intermediary between the client and NCR regarding current customer issues, escalating any obstacles to securing business or ensuring customer satisfaction;
• Tasked with proposing and finalizing deals within the assigned territory;
• The role demands strong prospecting abilities, the capacity to foster customer relationships through consultative selling, and building customer trust in NCR;
• Must maintain a strong focus on cultivating new business opportunities and closing existing accounts to aggressively penetrate competitive accounts, leading to lasting business relationships;
• Collaborates with NCR teams to implement a cohesive 'Unified NCR' approach with all customers while minimizing conflicts;
• Works cross-functionally within the organization to ensure all business aspects align for optimal results for both the company and customers;
• Structures financially beneficial relationships.
• A bachelor's degree is highly preferred;
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, both verbal and written;
• Highly motivated and determined to achieve success;
• Strong skills in relationship-building;
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities;
• Ability to remain objective and make sound decisions;
• Quick learning aptitude and the ability to perform well under pressure;
• Capacity to work independently while adhering to company guidelines;
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional maturity;
• Willingness to travel within the local or regional territory 50% - 100% of the time.
