This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Achieve designated targets
• Acts as the primary contact for all specified districts
• Fosters strong relationships with stakeholders across the accounts
• Engages with customers to address concerns and identify gaps
• Builds district connections and nurtures relationships at all levels to enhance Scholastic’s position, leading to significant growth within assigned accounts
• Gathers account information on organizational structure (parent and subsidiaries), purchasing processes, compensation processes, and existing products/tools to create a prospective business report that outlines necessary business activities for account closure
• Maintains consistent communication with the account base, driving revenue growth through the positioning and demonstration of new and existing products, preparing relevant RFPs, and successfully closing sales
• Generates, develops, manages, and communicates expectations within assigned accounts while expanding the scope of engagement within each account
• Assesses new opportunities and prospects, evaluates the scale of opportunities, and articulates closure probabilities
• Keeps comprehensive and accurate records in the company's CRM module for all activities
• Maintains extensive knowledge of company products and their capabilities in comparison to the strengths and weaknesses of competing products
• Willingness to travel up to 60%
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Over 10 years of experience related to education
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in strategic selling across territories, generating and closing large opportunities
• Demonstrated ability to meet sales responsibilities and annual targets
• Proven history of selling and developing relationships with high-level customers
• Demonstrable success in enhancing overall Customer Experience
• Preference for candidates with well-established professional relationships
• Bachelor’s Degree or a higher level of education preferred
• Knowledge of Academic Curriculum
• Proficient in MS Office software; experience with Sales Automation, Customer Relationship Management, or web-based software tools
• Strong oral and written communication abilities, including presentation skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities with peers, superiors (across functions and throughout the organization), and customers
