This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Take charge of the western U.S. territory by identifying, prospecting, and securing new business opportunities in the DME/HME sector, targeting providers in respiratory, sleep/PAP, mobility, enteral, and complex rehab categories located west of the Mississippi River.
• Formulate and implement a strategic territory plan to meet revenue and booking targets across the West.
• Deliver impactful sales presentations and product demonstrations to both operational and financial decision-makers.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with both prospective and current clients in the DME/HME field, focusing on key markets in the West.
• Utilize GPO and channel affiliations (such as VGM, MHA) to enhance the pipeline within the territory.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams (marketing, implementation, client services) to facilitate seamless client onboarding.
• Keep precise records of sales activities and pipeline management using CRM software (HubSpot).
• Represent ACU-Serve at industry events, conferences, and trade shows (like Medtrade, VGM Heartland), including those held in the western U.S.
• Stay updated on industry trends, reimbursement and payer dynamics, market activities, and competitor positioning within the territory.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of the DME/HME market, encompassing the entire landscape of providers across all tiers (national, regional, specialty, independent), with a strong familiarity with western U.S. markets being a significant advantage.
• A strong existing network and meaningful professional relationships within the DME/HME community.
• 3–7+ years of B2B healthcare sales experience, ideally selling services, RCM, or technology solutions to DME/HME providers.
• Working knowledge of DME/HME billing and reimbursement principles (including prior authorization, resupply, documentation requirements, and payer mix).
• A proven history of meeting or surpassing sales quotas.
• Ability to communicate value effectively to both operational and financial stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, along with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A self-starter with outstanding time management and organizational capabilities, comfortable managing a large, multi-state territory remotely.
• Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the western U.S. for client meetings and industry events.
