
Account Executive – Co-Counsel Tax

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Oversee comprehensive customer migrations from outdated systems to CoCounsel Tax, collaborating closely with Account Managers, Account Specialists, Customer Success, Support, Product Training, Product, Solutions Consultants, and various internal teams.
• Execute migration discovery and readiness planning, which encompasses workflow evaluations, stakeholder identification, legacy footprint assessments, data and tracking needs, access considerations, priority use cases, success metrics, rollout sequencing, and scheduling.
• Assist in sales, account strategy, and customer interactions by participating in discovery calls, solution discussions, demonstrations, and both pre- and post-sale planning dialogues to align migration strategies, business outcomes, adoption requirements, and customer preparedness.
• Develop and sustain migration and adoption documentation, including checklists, rollout strategies, enablement timelines, adoption playbooks, FAQs, objection handling guides, demo instructions, customer communications, migration positioning, and success story content.
• Facilitate regular customer and internal working sessions with administrators, champions, account teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to monitor progress, eliminate obstacles, manage risks, and ensure alignment throughout the migration process.
• Provide onboarding, enablement, and adoption support through live walkthroughs, office hours, customized training, and on-demand assistance for administrators, champions, end users, Account Managers, Account Specialists, Solutions Consultants, and partner teams.
• Monitor migration health and adoption progress by evaluating milestones, risks, adoption indicators, support trends, workflow efficiency improvements, minimized research effort, customer confidence, and other predefined success metrics.
• Act as a primary internal resource for inquiries related to migration paths, packaging and entitlements, deployment considerations, adoption challenges, and mapping legacy to new workflows.
• Collect and consolidate customer and field feedback from migrations, addressing feature gaps, workflow issues, governance needs, performance expectations, research use cases, and adoption priorities for AI-enabled solutions.
• Produce internal reports and recommendations summarizing trends, themes, business impacts, customer requirements, and suggested actions to guide roadmap prioritization and ongoing enhancements.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role such as Customer Success, Implementation, Solutions Consulting, Sales Enablement, Product Support, or Technical Account Management.
• Proven experience in facilitating platform migrations, product transitions, or customer adoption initiatives.
• Strong capability to convert customer workflows into actionable requirements, plans, and implementation strategies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with the skill to produce clear materials for both customer and internal audiences.
• Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate effectively across sales, support, product, product marketing, finance, and associated teams.
