This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Account Executive is tasked with overseeing the complete service experience and relationship management of designated accounts.
• This role acts as a strategic intermediary between the client and HealthDyne, offering expertise, insights, and implementation of products, programs, and services, which include member engagement tools, tailored distribution support, and suggestions for collaborative growth opportunities with our partners.
• The position is accountable for fostering robust client relationships, driving growth, ensuring profitability, and maintaining retention through contract renewals and upselling products and services.
• Establishes and nurtures professional relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
• Serves as the primary contact and liaison among internal business, technology, and operations development teams for assigned clients.
• Takes the initiative as the internal “quarterback” and advocate for clients to coordinate with the executive leadership team and operational support teams.
• Responsible for selling and introducing clients to new products and service offerings that enhance value and lower costs for the client.
• Organizes and leads client business planning meetings, executive briefings, client meetings, and internal team strategy sessions.
• Collaborates with key internal partners, including sales and underwriting, on Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for existing clients by formulating and reviewing responses.
• Provides prompt and accurate responses to inquiries and issues from both internal and external sources.
• Develops and executes a client plan that aligns with the goals and objectives of the client while supporting corporate business strategy.
• A bachelor's degree in health administration, business, pharmacy, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 15 years of proven industry experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of account management experience in the pharmacy or health-related field is required.
• Expertise in reading, interpreting, and negotiating contract terms is necessary.
• Ability to interpret financial data is required.
• Experience in client-facing presentations is mandatory.
• Strong negotiation skills along with well-developed facilitation and collaboration abilities are essential.
• At least 2 years of experience in the pharmacy industry is preferred.
• Background as a pharmacy technician or in specific roles within mail order pharmacy or pharmacy technology is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the pharmacy industry, underwriting processes, pricing, medical and pharmacy terminology, pharmacy claims, and managed care principles and practices is desired.
• Ongoing learning in the pharmacy services industry and continuous development of product knowledge in healthcare, pharmacy, PBM, company-specific product offerings, pricing components, and company capabilities and limitations is required.
