This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of Eastern Canada.
• Develop and manage a targeted account list of significant employers in regulated sectors throughout Ontario and the East, prioritizing accounts based on potential rather than current expenditure.
• Pursue new business opportunities.
• Conduct structured discovery sessions to identify each Training Manager's compliance and workforce challenges, showcase the platform in relation to those challenges, and successfully close deals.
• This position is a genuine outbound hunting role.
• Lead consultative demonstrations.
• Provide engaging platform and content demonstrations, both virtually and in person, that foster trust and long-term value without employing high-pressure tactics.
• Expand strategic accounts.
• Manage expansion and new-scope discussions within your key accounts.
• Standard renewals will be managed by our Delivery team, allowing you to concentrate on new revenue generation and growth.
• Collaborate as one national team.
• Work alongside WKT's Western Canada Account Executive utilizing a shared playbook and coordinated prospecting and demo workflows: complementary territories, unified efforts.
• Maintain a disciplined pipeline.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date records within our CRM (FreshSales).
• Background in finance or insurance.
• Experience in selling to or working within the financial services or insurance sector, along with a well-established network of contacts in this field to leverage for warm outreach and strategic entry points.
• Knowledge of licensing and continuing education.
• An understanding of the professional licensing and continuing education landscape (LLQP, CIRO, or similar) is highly advantageous.
• Proven B2B sales experience.
• Demonstrated success in a consultative, outbound B2B sales or account management role, with a track record of achieving or surpassing targets and managing high-value deals focused on long-term value.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable presenting to senior decision-makers and Training Managers, establishing trust through educational and consultative dialogues instead of pressure tactics.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (FreshSales is a plus), AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT, LinkedIn, and AI-driven sales engagement platforms, utilizing them to conduct research efficiently, personalize outreach, and keep your pipeline active.
• Strong CRM discipline.
• Diligent in pipeline management, activity tracking, and deal documentation.
• Multilingual skills (optional): Fluency in French is considered an asset but is not mandatory.
