This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Manage existing accounts and develop new prospects while selling and servicing eyewear products.
• Create an innovative sales strategy to engage prospects, generating opportunities to sell products and boost revenue.
• Build and nurture strong business relationships with both customers and potential clients.
• Represent the eyewear line of business in all sales-related activities directed at the customer base.
• Operate independently, while effectively collaborating with partners, teams, and colleagues to surpass quota targets.
• Implement creative ideas and solutions to address customers’ business challenges.
• Keep up-to-date with current knowledge of existing and new products and services.
• Identify and relay future customer requirements and feedback to the appropriate VSP divisions.
• Serve as a liaison among various VSP departments and customers to ensure service levels and expectations are met.
• Work with marketing and product development teams to respond to customers’ needs and analyze market data.
• Utilize a sales automation system for inquiries, record maintenance, and report preparation.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over three years of sales experience, showcasing account management, servicing, negotiation skills, and established customer relationships.
• A results-oriented achiever with outstanding planning and organizational capabilities, along with a strong attention to detail.
• Proven history of meeting sales and revenue goals with responsibility for small to medium accounts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
• Highly adaptable, positive, resilient, and a patient risk-taker who welcomes new ideas.
• A resourceful team player skilled at fostering trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
• An innovative problem-solver capable of generating effective solutions and resolving issues.
• A flexible team player who excels in environments that require prioritizing and managing multiple concurrent sales opportunities.
• An exceptional listener and communicator who conveys information effectively both verbally and in writing.
• A highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time.
• A clean driving record.
• Capability to achieve and maintain any applicable agent licensing requirements for any state(s) within the assigned sales territory.
