This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Provide expert consultative laboratory sales to both new and existing TriCore clients within a designated territory.
• Cultivate outstanding relationships with new and existing accounts to advance TriCore's interests and achieve sales targets.
• Sustain and expand current accounts through Strategic Business Calls and consultative discussions aligned with client organizations' strategies and success factors.
• Foster value-driven relationships within healthcare organizations to propel sales growth within the territory.
• Enhance healthcare accounts to meet or surpass the organization's sales objectives.
• Organize and coordinate prompt responses to Requests for Proposals within the assigned territory to acquire or expand accounts.
• Prepare and submit proposals for new accounts as needed, adhering to pricing policies and review procedures.
• Regularly review and manage Laboratory Service Agreement contracts for accounts within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with laboratory supervisors and departments to address issues, establish new clients, and accommodate special requests.
• Leverage insights from laboratory department Subject Matter Experts and Medical Directors to enhance consultation knowledge and achieve sales objectives.
• Deliver training to clients for onboarding, retention, issue resolution, and service needs.
• Assist Communications in creating appropriate marketing tools as assigned.
• Strategically plan, organize, and execute the sales approach for the territory.
• Develop effective sales techniques and strategies, including Strategic Business Calls and other Phase 3 tactics.
• Maintain an effective call cycle and client records using the Client Relationship Manager, SalesForce.
• Uphold high standards of technical knowledge regarding new and existing tests offered by TriCore and its partner laboratories.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of medical specialties and the characteristics of their patient populations.
• Stay informed on national trends in governmental and private insurance guidelines and regulations, including Prior Authorization and Medical Necessity requirements.
• Submit weekly and monthly reports, including but not limited to expense reports, as required by management.
• Create and generate reports on pipeline and lead status utilizing the Client Relationship Manager, SalesForce.
• Provide training to new and existing customers on TriCore IT products and testing services.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five (5) years of sales experience OR three (3) years of relevant healthcare or medical laboratory sales/service experience.
• Medical laboratory experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM/Sales Force information technology tools is preferred.
• Valid driver's license for the state of residence.
• Good driving record; must be insurable by the lab's insurance carrier.
• Willingness to travel as required for territory development and sales meetings.
