This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Oversee the territory to foster strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, laboratory contacts, retail partners, and other ancillary medical professionals within the designated area.
• Utilize available resources to fulfill customer needs while collaborating effectively with a cross-functional team of suppliers and internal resources.
• Direct the strategic approach for the territory; devise sales strategies to achieve targets and grow business within the assigned area; maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet or surpass sales goals.
• Conduct sales calls and manage vendor relations with all customers and prospective clients in the assigned territory.
• Remain informed about competitor and industry activities, as well as new products/services and other pertinent information for customers, integrating this data into the business plan; introduce new offerings.
• Lead pricing strategies within the territory to ensure profitability.
• Keep precise records, reports, and files necessary for the effective management of the territory.
• Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific positively at all customer locations.
• A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a scientific field.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, ideally in medical sales, laboratory, science, or the healthcare industry, or relevant experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, as well as presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation abilities and customer relationship management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and internet usage.
• Must have the organizational skills necessary to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines as required.
• A strong background in the industry, healthcare, and science is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations.
• Capable of passing required vendor credentialing for hospital/lab access.
