📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for all business outcomes in your designated territory, focusing on renewals, upselling/expansion, and acquiring new logos to ensure continuous growth and adoption.

• Drive user expansion as your main objective, collaborating with districts to enhance Soundtrap's presence across schools, grades, and programs to optimize instructional effectiveness.

• Proactively manage renewals by developing multi-year strategies, aligning stakeholders early in the process, and ensuring that customers renew due to the tangible value they are experiencing.

• Identify and secure expansion prospects through consultative selling—aligning Soundtrap with district objectives, instructional priorities, and strategic initiatives.

• Achieve and surpass quarterly sales goals related to renewals and growth within your territory.

• Manage a territory encompassing approximately eight states, with a particular emphasis on expanding business in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.

• Develop and implement territory and account strategies that map stakeholders, uncover growth opportunities, and prioritize impactful initiatives within your portfolio.

• Engage in prospecting and nurturing new leads to establish and sustain a strong pipeline, including attracting new districts and promoting growth within existing accounts.

• Participate in industry conferences and events to engage with key decision-makers and strengthen relationships throughout your territory.

• Collaborate closely with Customer Success and internal teams to ensure customers realize strong adoption rates, renewal preparedness, and expansion growth.

• Work in partnership with internal teams to facilitate the execution of business contracts, DPAs, and other agreements, with oversight from your manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of K12 sales experience, demonstrating a successful history of territory management and securing district-wide contracts.

• Proven experience in driving renewals, expansion, and new business—you know how to grow a book of business beyond merely landing logos.

• A well-established network of contacts among decision-makers in school districts (Curriculum, CTE, Instructional Technology, IT, and Procurement).

• A consultative sales approach that allows you to align Soundtrap with district priorities, build trust, and function as a long-term partner rather than a mere transactional vendor.

• Excellent communication skills: capable of delivering engaging demos, facilitating discussions at the executive level, and clearly conveying value to various stakeholders.

• Highly organized and process-oriented; you effectively utilize CRM tools to guide your daily sales efforts and understand how to implement a territory plan.

• You excel in a remote work environment, demonstrate initiative, and can advance projects without needing constant supervision.
