This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Create and implement a sales strategy to meet sales objectives.
• Discover and pursue new business prospects in targeted accounts and ideal customer profiles while researching and analyzing market dynamics, customer requirements, and competitor actions to refine sales tactics accordingly.
• Develop a robust network of contacts within the territory and establish a solid pipeline for future sales opportunities.
• Generate leads through multiple channels, including cold calls, partnerships, networking, referrals, and industry events.
• Showcase company products and services to prospective clients through meetings, presentations, and demonstrations.
• Address customer inquiries, negotiate pricing and contract conditions, and finalize sales agreements.
• Consistently meet and surpass sales quotas and performance benchmarks.
• Regularly track and report sales activities, opportunities, forecasts, and progress to management.
• Maintain precise records of client interactions, contracts, and opportunities within CRM systems.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute campaigns and promotions.
• Work alongside sales engineering, implementation, account management, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and meet customer expectations.
• Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product developments, sales strategies, and industry trends.
• Provide insights to the product and marketing teams regarding customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging market trends.
• Proven experience in selling within the SaaS or trades sectors (preferably both).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong persuasive communication abilities to express and convey a compelling vision for the future state of the client's business, demonstrating how our solutions can fulfill their needs and foster transformational outcomes.
• Capability to build and sustain relationships with clients across all levels.
• Proficient in utilizing CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Clari, etc.).
• Self-driven with a strong results-oriented mindset and solution-focused approach.
• Possession of a driving license and a reliable vehicle suitable for business use.
• Typically has 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in the SaaS sector.
• Experience in prospecting, cold calling, and converting leads into sales.
• History of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
