This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead new business sales of Daylight PMS, Infrasys POS, and additional products within a designated territory in the United States and/or Canada, managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Discover and qualify new business opportunities through market analysis, outbound prospecting, in-person hotel visits, strategic territory planning, industry events, networking efforts, and self-identified target accounts.
• Maintain a high level of daily sales activities, including prospecting calls, emails, social outreach, customer meetings, and field engagement to steadily build and advance the sales pipeline.
• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with hotel owners, operators, management companies, general managers, and other hospitality decision-makers to identify business needs and foster long-term business development and referrals.
• Collaborate with the SDR team, Marketing, and the Director of Sales to synchronize territory-based campaigns, align on penetration strategies, and optimize pipeline generation.
• Achieve or surpass all assigned sales and activity objectives as well as revenue targets.
• Ensure accurate management of the sales pipeline, forecasting, activity tracking, and opportunity updates within CRM systems.
• Conduct consultative discovery meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations for Daylight PMS and Infrasys POS, customizing proposals to meet prospects' needs and drive deals to closure.
• Analyze territory performance metrics, market trends, competitive activities, and customer insights to pinpoint high-value targets, prioritize outreach efforts, and refine go-to-market strategies for maximum effectiveness.
• Keep abreast of hospitality technology trends, competitive dynamics, and product updates for Daylight PMS, Infrasys POS, and other Shiji offerings to effectively position solutions and uncover new deployment opportunities.
• Represent Shiji in the marketplace by actively engaging in industry events, trade shows, and local hospitality associations to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
• Perform additional related duties as required and assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field; or equivalent years of relevant professional experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years in hospitality technology or direct hospitality operations (property-level or multi-property).
• At least two (2) years of experience in business development or outside sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned revenue goals and quotas.
• Proven ability to prospect, generate pipeline, and maintain high levels of sales activity through calls, emails, networking, in-person meetings, and field engagement.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to prioritize territory activities, manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.
• Strong business acumen in hospitality settings, including an understanding of hotel operations, operational challenges, decision-making processes, revenue drivers, budgetary practices, and technology deployment considerations.
• Capability to engage and present credibly to senior decision-makers, including hotel owners, general managers, corporate executives, and C-level stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms and productivity tools, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships with prospects, customers, and industry partners.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently, handle rejection professionally, and maintain momentum in a performance-driven sales environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly (up to 50%) within the assigned territory for client meetings, hotel visits, networking events, and industry conferences.
• Positive team attitude and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work closely with SDRs, sales leadership, marketing, and internal resources to achieve shared objectives.
