Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the lead Account Managers in Cape Town to cultivate essential relationships with customer stakeholders and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Formulate and implement a comprehensive long-term strategy for the accounts, in alignment with the business objectives of the customer.

• Oversee the complete sales process by engaging the necessary resources such as Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, Partners, and others.

• Advocate for the advantages of the Salesforce Customer 360 proposition.

• Facilitate growth among our customers and prospects within the Retail and Financial Services sectors.

• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to navigate complex deal cycles effectively.

• Offer extensive technical expertise regarding the Salesforce Customer 360 and its relevance within the customer’s ecosystem.

• Create and implement strategies to penetrate whitespace opportunities.

• Account Planning and Strategies: Develops plans to achieve sales goals by effectively identifying and qualifying potential opportunities.

• Research and Discovery: Investigates a prospect's current processes, business challenges, and strategic objectives based on customer use cases and value hypotheses.

• Solutioning: Discovers compelling value propositions that meet customer needs by showcasing a strong understanding of technology solutions.

• Communication: Engages with customers clearly, concisely, and promptly through various communication methods (writing, speech, presentation) and tools (whiteboarding, Google Slides, Zoom).

• Resource Application: Proactively leverages the full range of available resources and tools to drive results.

• Team Selling: Coordinates with the entire account team and partners to ensure deal support and customer success.
