This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Establish SmartEquip’s brand visibility across the U.S., interacting with contractors, equipment rental firms, OEMs, dealers, and related sectors.
• Drive new business development through prospecting, outbound outreach, networking, trade associations, industry events, and collaboration with strategic partners.
• Design and implement territory strategies that include forecasting, pipeline management, and account planning.
• Guide intricate consultative sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, showcasing how SmartEquip integrates with customer workflows and provides measurable ROI.
• Provide engaging product demonstrations and customize proposals to meet the operational requirements of each client.
• Emerge as a trusted advisor to customers, fostering long-term relationships and supporting multi-year growth initiatives.
• Ensure robust account health and facilitate seamless transitions from signed contracts to implementation by collaborating closely with Customer Success.
• Identify growth opportunities within accounts and secure recurring revenue through exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Record all sales activities, interactions, pipeline updates, and forecasts in the CRM (Salesforce preferred).
• Work alongside SmartEquip’s technical, product, and onboarding teams to ensure solutions align with customer needs.
• Represent SmartEquip at trade shows, conferences, and regional industry events throughout Europe.
• Stay informed about industry developments through ongoing learning, competitive analysis, and remaining updated on trends in equipment rental and construction technology.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in Enterprise SaaS sales, ideally in construction technology, equipment rental, supply chain, procurement, or industrial software.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and managing complex B2B sales processes.
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.
• Strong consultative selling skills and comfort engaging with C-level executives and operational stakeholders.
• Highly organized, self-motivated approach with strong discipline in territory management.
• Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce is a plus).
• Familiarity with MS Office; knowledge of workflow tools (e.g., Visio or similar) is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, on-site visits, and industry events.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth, cross-functional environment.
