This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish new partner relationships to enhance market reach and drive profitable revenue growth.
• Meet or surpass designated sales quotas and performance targets.
• Assess partner capacity in relation to market opportunities and determine acquisition needs to address coverage gaps.
• Develop and actively manage lists of potential partners, focusing on high-value prospects for both short- and long-term goals.
• Lead negotiations, facilitate complex decision-making processes, address objections, and secure new revenue through partner recruitment and acquisition.
• Engage in relevant industry organizations and shape industry standards.
• Communicate partner and end-user customer needs, purchasing behavior, industry trends, growth opportunities, and product development prospects to the organization.
• Stay updated and knowledgeable about all NMI products, software, and services.
• Keep accurate and timely records of sales and account management through written, oral, and Salesforce.com updates.
• Undertake other related tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
• Over 5 years of sales experience focused on acquiring new customers or channel partners.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new revenue and meet or exceed sales quotas in a hunting-focused sales role.
• Strong business acumen and a hunter mentality, capable of generating new business and qualifying opportunities.
• Results-oriented, energetic, and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Understanding of cold calling and prospecting to achieve successful sales performance and market positioning.
• Experience in the payments or software-products industry focused on new account acquisition is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to identify opportunities based on total potential, likely profitability, and chances of success.
• Skill in building relationships and quickly establishing trust with key personnel and executive leadership at partner organizations.
• Ability to effectively communicate product features and benefits, demonstrating value to partners and end-user customers.
• Exceptional verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office applications.
• Must provide documentation proving eligibility to work in the United States; NMI does not sponsor individuals who are not currently eligible to work in the U.S.
