This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prospect & Qualify: Strategically manage geographically aligned prospects, effectively targeting and assessing their alignment with Miter’s value proposition.
• Consultative Selling: Conduct in-depth discovery to comprehend a contractor's specific business needs and challenges concerning payroll, HR, and field operations. Establish credibility with C-suite executives by being knowledgeable about industry trends.
• Demonstrate Value: Skillfully present and showcase how Miter's all-in-one platform offers contractors a unified method to integrate all essential aspects of their business operations.
• Drive Business: Negotiate and secure new logo opportunities, consistently achieving and surpassing monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
• Collaborate: Work closely with internal teams, including sales development, launch, and customer success, to ensure a smooth handoff and successful implementation for new clients.
• Manage Pipeline: Keep an organized and accurate sales forecast, including updated pipeline stages and forecast categories.
• Be a Founder: Embrace an entrepreneurial mindset within the team by identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to a fast-paced, growing company.
• 2+ years of quota-carrying, full-cycle B2B software sales experience with a proven record of outstanding performance.
• Proven experience in building and managing a territory: you understand how to generate pipeline from the ground up and remain disciplined with the same accounts over time.
• A founder mindset: you take ownership, avoid excuses, and treat your territory as a business.
• Resourcefulness: when conventional strategies fail, you find alternative solutions rather than waiting for guidance.
• Natural curiosity about your customers' world: you ask insightful questions, delve deeper, and adjust your approach based on your findings.
• Coachability and adaptability: you appreciate feedback, handle change effectively, and continually improve with each cycle.
• Willingness to be in the field: this role necessitates local presence, relationship building, and being present where your customers operate.
• Experience in construction, payroll, or related sectors is advantageous.
