This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• In the role of Account Executive for France, you will oversee sales support, product training, and customer service initiatives.
• Your responsibilities will include identifying new business prospects within the region, while also managing, retaining, renewing, and expanding a portfolio of current clients.
• You will assist Regional Sales Managers in promoting publishers, products, and services throughout the designated region, contributing to overall revenue enhancement.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive stakeholder maps for key accounts, facilitating the creation and execution of strategic account plans.
• Implement targeted renewal campaigns, in addition to proactive lead generation, cold outreach, and the cultivation of high-quality prospect pipelines.
• Contribute to new business development efforts while fostering and growing existing client relationships; support the complete sales process and provide exceptional customer service.
• Meet and exceed annual portfolio growth objectives as outlined by the organization.
• Strengthen customer loyalty, retention, and satisfaction through regular engagement and value-driven interactions.
• Utilize effective communication skills to gather valuable customer insights and feedback through productive telephone and virtual discussions.
• Conduct and facilitate training sessions for libraries and publishers, ensuring users fully leverage the value of products and services.
• Boost product awareness and adoption by delivering trials, demonstrations, and online presentations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and product teams to align messaging, campaigns, and customer requirements.
• Assume additional responsibilities and account-related tasks as needed to support business goals.
• Native or near-native proficiency in French, with additional knowledge of Italian or German considered an asset.
• Fluent in English (spoken, written, and reading) with the capability to communicate effectively in a professional setting.
• Proven excellence in negotiation, communication (both verbal and written), and presentation skills.
• A proactive, self-driven, and highly organized individual with a flexible and positive work approach.
• Strong customer service orientation combined with commercial awareness and sales aptitude.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team, showcasing strong coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in the library or publishing sector is preferred.
• Work will primarily be conducted from home, with occasional travel as required.
• You will maintain contact with your team and colleagues globally in person, through online video conferencing tools, and via email.
