This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +12 more states.
• Oversee all sales operations within your designated region — either the Southeast or Central U.S.
• Manage and expand key strategic accounts, promoting greater adoption of FORT's safety, connectivity, and control solutions.
• Formulate and implement regional sales strategies to meet annual booking and revenue objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing to customize regional campaigns and generate qualified leads within the robotics and automation sectors.
• Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities with high-potential OEMs, system integrators, and enterprise clients.
• Conduct regular account evaluations to gauge satisfaction, uncover growth possibilities, and enhance relationships.
• Provide monthly reports on regional pipeline status, performance metrics, and strategic advancement.
• Represent FORT Robotics at major regional and national trade shows and industry events.
• Expect approximately 30–40% travel within your assigned region, alongside occasional trips to FORT's Philadelphia headquarters for team alignment and training.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in account management, business development, or enterprise sales within the fields of industrial automation, IoT, robotics, or safety-critical technology.
• Proven track record of successfully managing extensive territories and key accounts, including both customer acquisition and growth.
• Strong experience in selling integrated hardware/software solutions and articulating complex technical value propositions.
• Demonstrated capability to build and cultivate enterprise-level relationships and navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Consistent history of surpassing quotas in complex, technical sales environments.
• Proficient in regional territory planning, pipeline development, and strategic account management.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, comfortable engaging both senior executives and technical buyers.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, Excel, and sales analytics tools.
• Residency in the Southeast U.S. (for the Southeast position) or Central U.S. (for the Central position); preference for proximity to major transportation hubs.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional leadership.
• Competitive base salary plus commission, structured as a 50/50 split between base and variable pay.
• On-target earnings are aligned with FORT's compensation model, offering significant upside for exceeding performance expectations.
