This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Secure enterprise agreements with energy retailers, transforming customers’ EVs, heat pumps, and batteries into adaptable grid capacity.
• Take charge of scoping, technical validation, negotiation, and contracting for energy retailers and key strategic accounts.
• Carry responsibility for achieving sales targets.
• Cultivate relationships with Heads of Product and Heads of Innovation at energy retail organizations.
• Navigate the complete stakeholder landscape involving product, IT, trading, and procurement.
• Develop commercial cases that encourage engagement from hesitant buyers.
• Identify and define use cases across Connect, optimization tools, and Flex.
• Conduct technical validation with customer engineering from the sandbox phase through to production integration.
• Transform successes into reusable sales materials, sequences, and strategies for handling objections.
• Report to Enode’s VP of Revenue and collaborate with account executives, customer success teams, and customer engineering managers.
• Minimum of three years of experience closing B2B deals autonomously; relevant experience in leading commercial projects with senior stakeholders is also acceptable.
• Strong comprehension of the sales process for API products.
• Proven track record of independently managing a market or segment, rather than relying on leads provided by others.
• Ability to engage multiple stakeholders across product, IT, and procurement, including those you are not introduced to.
• Eagerness to acquire knowledge about energy retail, consumer tariffs, demand-side flexibility, and connected devices.
• Located in Europe and willing to travel for client meetings and attend three off-sites per year.
• Background in selling to energy retailers, utilities, e-mobility companies, or B2B SaaS platforms.
• Experience at a company where the sales strategy was still being developed rather than inherited.
• Proficiency in a second European language.
• Capability to work within the CET ±3h time zone.
